Atlantic Challenge International is sustained by the energy and time of many international volunteers who come together to discuss how to continue to make ACI a success by maintaining tradition.

President

Henning Risch - Jensen

As president Henning oversees the whole ACI organisation.
Being involved for many years Henning knows how to run this international organisation successfully.
Henning is also the Danish trustee and organised the ACI event in Roskilde.

Vice president

Stefanie Van Nieuwenhuyze

Stefanie was a crew member for 10 years before she became Belgian trustee. As vice president she supports Henning in the overall organisation.

Secretary

Jane Kerr

Jane makes sure that all our international meetings are well notes so importent information can reach all parties.
Jane is trustee for GB.

Treasurer

Scott Wagg

For an organisation to work well we need a clear overview of our finances. Scott keeps the books and makes sure we stay a healthy organisation. Having organised an ACI event himself, he knows what it takes.
Scott is also the Canadian trustee.

Events Committee

Diarmaid Murphy - events Chairman

The events Chairman is Diarmaid Murphy and is the Trustee for Ireland. As head of the events committee he oversees the running of the Contest events ensuring high standards in traditional seamanship, knowledge of the water and most of all safety.

The events committee is made up of past crew members or host country Trustees. They follow the events manual to organize and judge the Contest events and monitor safety.

The host countries are the countries that have been granted membership to ACI. Once a country has received membership they can participate in Contests and other events along with the rest of the countries who are members of ACI.
